Meaningful change for women in STEM requires joined up action. It depends upon aligning approaches and sharing what actually works.

This track explores how collective action drives lasting change. Understand the barriers women face, and learn how organisations can work together to create more effective solutions.

Build your understanding of how together, collaborative cross-sector action will drive greater impact. You’ll learn from evidence, expert vision and real-world examples. What you learn in this track will feed into improving outcomes for women and supporting sustainable change.

You can join one or both sessions and mix and match with other tracks.

Collaborative Solutions Workshop (session repeats)

Join this interactive session and work with peers to co-create practical solutions to shared challenges. Facilitated by senior leaders from cross-sector groups; Liz Baldwin (Women in Rail), Rachel Cook (Women in Nuclear) and Chantelle Brown (Women in Nuclear), you will explore:

  • Transferable skills: How to better recognise, improve recognition and utilisation of transferable skills
  • Career development: How organisations can improve visibility and access to progression opportunities
  • Retention: Which shared approaches can strengthen retention, especially at key transition points

You will leave with clear, action points to support stronger collaboration and a more aligned, industry-wide approach to improving outcomes for women in STEM.
