Christine Enowmbi Tambe
Senior Electrochemical Engineer, Carbon Capture Machine (UK) Ltd
Christine’s work applies principles of green chemistry to develop technologies that enable industrial decarbonisation without compromising resource security. Her expertise spans electrochemical engineering, metal electrodeposition and electroforming, hydrometallurgy, critical mineral recovery, materials characterisation, electrochemical alkalisation, and carbon capture and mineralisation.
In recognition of her contributions, Christine was the UK National Winner in the Female Innovators category of the Net-Zero Industries Award 2025 and a finalist for the IChemE Young Engineers Award for Innovation and Sustainability. She is an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and is committed to supporting greater diversity in STEM through mentoring, outreach, and educational initiatives.
Amy Jackson
Sustainability and Carbon Consultant, AtkinsRéalis
Amy Jackson is a Sustainability and Carbon Consultant at AtkinsRéalis, specialising in carbon management, decarbonisation strategy and sustainable infrastructure. Since joining the business as a graduate in June 2023, she has rapidly established herself as a trusted advisor, delivering innovative and impactful solutions across the water, energy, transport and pharmaceutical sectors.
In her role, Amy combines technical expertise with a strategic and digital approach, supporting clients to measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprints. She has led major projects including delivering net zero roadmaps for multi-national clients under the European Investment Bank PATH Framework, supporting HS2 on carbon policy impacts, and acting as Project Manager and Technical Lead for Donegal Airport’s successful ACA Level 4 accreditation.
Amy also plays an active role in shaping sustainability within AtkinsRéalis as Vice Chair and Operations Lead for the global Sustainability Technical Network, directly delivering initiatives as well as managing the tasks of more junior committee members. Outside of work, she sits as trustee on the board for the UK Associates of the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences1, a registered charity which aims to support marine and atmospheric science students to gain hands-on research experience.
Driven by a passion for sustainability and continuous improvement, Amy is committed to delivering practical, data-driven solutions that enable clients to achieve meaningful environmental outcomes.

This award aims to acknowledge and celebrate a woman who is only just beginning her STEM career.
The nominee may be a young rising star who has made her mark shortly after entering the working world. Equally, she may also be a more mature woman who is brand new to working in STEM and has shown real promise despite not being in the sector(s) for very long.
This WISE award celebrates a woman who is at the beginning of her STEM career and already demonstrating exceptional potential. She may be a young rising star who has made an early impact soon after entering the workforce, or a woman who has joined the STEM sector later in life and shown impressive promise in a short period of time.
Nominees should be in the earliest phase of their professional journey and already standing out through their talent, drive, and contribution. The judges are looking for rising stars who have not been in their field for long but are clearly on a trajectory toward significant future achievement.
