The WISE Conference is the leading event to cultivate gender equity in STEM. It’s where you can learn, connect and make action plans.

View the day's programme

The 2026 conference was a day of inspiring speakers and active workshops. Where women in STEM connected and shared best practice. Where advocates and allies looked beyond awareness, and planned for action.

We explored the following themes

Active allyship: awareness into action

Move beyond awareness of gender equity and translate it into measurable impact. Explore what effective allyship looks like in practice, and why it matters for organisational performance.

You will gain practical strategies to foster inclusion, challenge inequity and build cultures for everyone to thrive.

Keynote Speaker: Mivy James

We are delighted to introduce Mivy James, Chief Technology Officer, Ministry of Defence, as our keynote speaker this year.

Mivy’s 30-year career has seen her excelling in the traditionally male-dominated fields of cybersecurity and defence. She is equally known for her advocacy: championing women in tech, promoting change to corporate culture, and redefining perceptions of what a good leader looks like.
