The WISE Conference

The Women Into Science and Engineering (WISE) Conference empowers attendees to lead inclusion in their workplace. 2026 was no exception. Attendees from all areas of engineering and different career stages joined us for a day full of practical actions, inspirational speakers, and the chance to share ideas and solutions.

The key themes for 2026 were:

The WISE Awards ceremony celebrated outstanding women in STEM, and organisations whose Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives have led the way in driving positive change.

Measuring Progress Event

Our annual Measuring Progress Event brings WISE members together to benchmark progress against the WISE HR diagnostic, part of the WISE gender Equity Framework - and turn insights into action.

Member organisations who completed the diagnostic reflected on what’s working, challenged what’s not, and devised solutions to strengthen their approach to equity, diversity and inclusion.

For the first time, attendees at the MPE were able to join some of the conference sessions, and be part of the wider conversations connecting their progress to supporting women across the STEM sector.
