Call for posters
What is involved in a poster presentation?
A poster presentation is a visually driven summary of a piece of your work, including the aims of your initiative, key findings, data/charts, results, and conclusions.
For the WISE Conference, we are looking for poster presentations showing the results of gender equity initiatives, how you have addressed and overcome barriers, approaches you have taken to inclusive recruitment and retention, and what you have done to build inclusive environments.
How will the poster session work?
The poster session takes place alongside the refreshments and lunch breaks.
We will ask you to stand by your poster display for part of each break, and be available to discuss your work with other attendees.
Benefits of presenting a poster at the WISE Conference:
- Communicate easily: presenting a poster brings people to you. It’s a very easy way of putting your message across and getting people interested in your work.
- Start conversations: Presenting guarantees you one-on-one and small group discussions with peers, mentors and prospective collaborators.
- Gain feedback, including ideas and new perspectives.
